Sandals Emerald Bay – Opened January 2010
Sandals Emerald Bay Bahamas was purchased by Sandals Resorts in 2009 – it was formally the Four Seasons. When did Sandals Emerald Bay open for business? – January 2010. The original Four Seasons resort opened in 2003, so the resort was already in great condition when it was purchased. Sandals installed an entirely new pool and pool area and added 2 restaurants.

This will be the first ever Sandals Resort to include a fully-protected stand-alone Marina. The Emerald Bay Marina by Sandals offers 133 slips and is equipped to accommodate and service yachts up to 300 feet in length. Sandals Grande Riviera just received extensive updates and upgrades.
Sandals recently added Sandals Royal Plantation to their lineup of resorts. It is the only all suite all butler resort in the chain. Though it is new to the Sandals Resort, the resort itself is not new.
