The staff were excellent — great bartenders, security was perfect — they let us over to the cliff side whenver we wanted even in the middle of the night and I always felt safe. Great service at the resteraunt and the food was some of the best I’ve ever had (all Jamaican food was awesome) – the french toast was the best. The caves and swimming were also terrifc but a tropical depression came up and it was too rough to swim, however the waves crashing against the cliffs was worth seeing and a great experience.
For the price at this time of year – our room was unbelievable!!! It was HUGE, clean, screens on the windows, quiet, safe, gorgeous bathroom – everything you would want in a cheap hotel room for LESS than I could get at any hotel in the United States. Seriously I want to move in and live at Xtabi. The bed I had was a firm foam matress and very soft and comfortable. Pillow was very nice.

We just returned from our second stay in Negril and it was fantastic. This trip we had the King and Queen all inclusive package at Sunset on the Beach. It was a great value for the price. Room was clean and comfortable, not the greatest but we were not in Jamaica to spend time in our room. The grounds were beautiful and kept clean.The beach was great, plenty of room and no shortage of lounge chairs. Room in the sun and room under shaded cabanas. With the changing climate some resorts are losing their beach area but there is plenty here. And being at the end of the 7 mile beach there is not the amount of traffic walking by as in other resorts.

Let me just say this hotel is definitely worth every penny! If you’re looking for non-AI. Check in was fast and security always was around. We stayed in the Mandarin room which was right over the pool and hot tub. It was a superior Room. The room was huge! Huge Balcony! Everything on there website is all true. The restaurant and Bar were great too. The food was delicious and resonably priced and the drinks were cheap! Delroy the bartender was the best! Drinks were always strong and he had your drink waiting when he saw you coming!
